Some picks from my +20 years of expirienc with OpenSource in my heart

NNIT A/S 2021

As service architect for Unix and Linux across our Public & Private and Life science customers where quality and documentation is the key to it all, I have modernized and optimized heavy qualifications, in to a infrastructure as code development model,  where unit testing and documentation work hand in hand with infrastructure as code, using modean automation tools like Ansible for post installation and validation processes. Keeping the quality of the Linux platform to  it’s maximum, and to ensure a quick delivery to Line of Business, where customers want latest platforms to go hand in hand with proven quality.

SAS Institute 2018

As Senior Technical Consultant, I was part of the Technical Architect and Services team (TAS). I had the pleasure of forming the way they implemented new Viya platform using Ansible. I worked close with there System architects and we found a new way to deliver Viya to our costumers.

Itadel (TDC Hosting) 2017

I was in the team of UNIX/Linux system-administrator as Senior Consultant. I implimented Red Hat Satellite server, to maintain and deployed over 1000 customers server running all kind of Linux Distributions. The main focus was on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

CGI 1999 – 2017

CGI Technical lead of server infrastructure, with main focus on Red Hat and CentOS server deployment and production.
Created CGI’s Linux server deployment framework using Spacewalk and PXE with kickstart.
Implemented several of Atlassian application to production, counting Jira and Bitbucket, integration to Subversion and GIT.
DNS Administrator using bind based on RHEL systems, also was a domain registrator for CGI with 2 master name servers, for .dk domains working with DK-Hostmaster.
2011 – 2017 Started working with government and public customers, as an OS UNIX/Linux specialist. I took part in winning seveal public offers, and had the role as implementing technician. My assignment was to challenges the technicians and give our public customers the smoothest transition to CGI’s data centers.
In 2006 – 2010 Though my work for CGI, I was building the biggest VM-Ware ESX farm known in Denmark at that time. I took part in everything form hardware to software and Network etc. Including migrating physical servers to virtual servers.

Fedora Project Contributor, participating as a Bug Zapper for new releases.
